Cripple Path by Robert Jones, Napa

One very tough looking walk and I like how you've painted that figure too

Or if you slipped, you could be crippled! Another interesting view, plenty of detail but in the right place!

Thanks for comments, again. It is a bit of a wintry view, but then - we were just on the cusp of Spring, the blackthorn just beginning to blossom. I will try to get up there again come the Summer - I got about half way up, holding on to lumps of rock and boughs of trees, but the mud and a pinging knee told me "not tonight, Josephine".

Well named Robert, it could cripple you if you're not very careful. Like the painting lots. The ACF canvases seem to suit you.

Two really enjoyable paintings Robert.

Cripple, in this case, is said to mean "difficult and narrow". One one side is a very large greensand cliff, on the other a steep drop. Oil on ACF canvas - it's largely from memory: getting up there is hard work, and until the ground has fully dried out, could be lethal as well. ACF canvas.
