Lovely atmosphere Robert yes defend one area and another suffers

The rocks are hopefully weathering and looking in place now Robert.

What's that rat doing there, no food about is there?

Oh there certainly is, Derek: a little way down the path is a harbour where fishermen and others gather, just around the corner is a small café, and there's waste bin to the right of my furry friend. Food abounds.

Really love the palette and composition in this piece, Robert, as well as the contrast between the textured foreground and trees against the cool expanse of the sky.

That rat probably eats better than I do, anyway, a good solid painting with an interesting story.

Mr Rat obviously knows when he's on to a good thing :) Lovely greens in this and I always like the way you depict your trees and foliage Robert.

I love the dark fence against the lightest part of the sky, very striking. Nice to see ratty about, clearing up after us humans.

It's all been said Robert! Lovely work!

Quarter Imperial watercolour: this is in an area known as the Haven, where rock armour has been installed to reduce the erosive force of the sea. And it seems to be working: which makes it rather a pity they didn't extend it along the rest of the coast where the Niton to Ventnor road has collapsed.
