....or even dogs dinner or pigs ear... :)

Thanks Rikke. The subtle tones of pale yellow didn't make it very easy!

That is beautiful, Val!!

Beautiful painting, Val - I think the background looks great... amazing how much money the Central Arts Association has raised for such good causes!

So delicate and beautiful.

Gorgeous, Val - beautifully painted!

Beautiful 😍

Beautiful!

I think it's lovely Val (background too!)

It’s lovely Val, background looks just right to me x

Beautiful delicate painting - and the background looks ok to me.

That's a great amount of funds raised. Lovely painting and I can't see anything wrong with the background.

Magnificent!

Yes Val, the background is ok, goes very well with the muted colours in your peony

Crisp. Excellent. So very well done.

Background seems perfect to me, Val, setting off the beautifully painted flower.

Really really beautiful Val, lovely creamy shades. Background looks good to me, no pig’s ear here!

Thank you everyone for your encouraging comments, I feel much happier with this one now.

Absolutely beautiful.

Romila and Valerie thank you so much.

Thank you Nigel.

So beautiful! Nature is fleeting, but this has captured a bloom for eternity!
