Margot the Lurcher

A brilliant gallery Paul but this is my favourite! I was interested to read about your technique for creating finer detail in the coat and I will try it sometime. Margot is so like my lurcher, Megan, who died last year. She's beautiful.

Thank you very much for your lovely comments. ***Julia*** Initially I tend to not worry to much about colour, the way I do this is work and mostly complete one area at a time with the occasional wash over the full area to ensure the colour remains the same. But the detail is completed first in one colour a mixture of browns and blues. I then put a wash over the top and again redo most of the detail.
