Lovely painting and like you I have spent many hours painting fur so I know the work that goes into these paintings, sitting down every day for weeks sometimes. Well worth the effort though.

Hang on Studio Wall

When I came across the reference photo for this (courtesy of Pixabay), I just had to paint it. Painted in watercolour using a size 00 brush, a size 1 and a 5 for those slightly larger areas. When you zoom into a photo you can see those colours behind all the details, which I can apply the detail work over the top of, once the washes are dry. I've videoed the entire process over many hours of work as well. ;-) Have a lovely week everyone, Paul 🎨
