You have done a really fantastic job with the waves in the sea. The atmosphere is definitely heavy, and I like the strong perspective leading the eye into the drawing. Lovely to see a drawing on the gallery.

A very strong drawing with some good pencil tones and marks, Jeannette, full of atmosphere. I agree with lesley, it's nice to see a drawing on the gallery

Thank you all so very much for your very kind comments. Val, I have sketched this scene so many times but this one was done in the comfort of my home. I know the scene so well I think I could paint it blindfold! The fingers were getting very painful but worth the effort - I think?

I have painted this scene a few times whatever the weather. Once again the sea was heavy the sky heavy, no rain. Had a go at drawing the scene. Water soluble Graphite on Bockingford 425gsm.
