I like it Jeannette. The scene and the colors are beautiful.

That was quite a lovely scene you had from the garden. I like the colours you have incorporated in this painting and the sense of depth.

Great feeling to this painting. Vibrant colours and very nice composition.

Gorgeous scene with lovely colours. I like it.

I know this is going to sound corney, but the whole painting just takes you to that coast- with the wind & the salt & is very evocative!

How did I manage to miss this !!? Beautiful colours and I couldn't have put it better than Colleen myself. That holiday was exactly what you needed after everything. Thanks for your lovely comments on my latest pastel, Hector and Hamish. Yes, colour fix is fast becoming my favourite support for pastels so far, but I've heard such good things about Fisher 400 I want to give that a try. This can be an expensive hobby can't it !! Sorry though, I still HATE velour. Decided against the pastel for the auction in case of problems posting, opted for a previously painted acrylic/oil one on box canvas. Fingers crossed it actually gets a bid !!

Fantastic cloud effects & also the rocks, love the other recent paintings too.

Hello Jeannette, This is a really nice painting, the more I look at it the more I like it, your use of broken colour is super, it would appear that you have really looked at the landscape to find the colours, well done. Another good thing, although mainly personal, is, that you are part of the scene by being there. Kind regards, Joe

Enjoying a browse through your fabulous gallery, for me this stands out because of the beautiful palette you have used. I like your style, and the energy in the strokes. When we visited we could hardly see anything, so it's good to know what was hiding in the mist. Thank-you for your comment on my work, and I'm glad you liked Gooners!

Another painting from the Cornwall holiday. We returned to the cottage from Truro - I painted this scene from the garden. Artists acrylic on 425gsm Bockingford NOT. I wasn't to sure about this one but I have mounted it and it looks rather good.
