This is lovely! I can almost feel the warm sunshine. Great painting - shame about the riuned cardi!!!

Oh to be somewhere hot! Lovely evocative painting, I wish I were there....

Lovely dark tones in this making the sunshine even brighter. Oh how I wish for some sun and warmth ! Great the way you have depicted the huddle of tables, chairs and people without going in to too much detail. A smashing watercolour. ( A few more smudges of colour here there and everywhere on your cardi and you've got a designer woolie someone would pay a lot of money for LOL)

I am sooo jealous of you, being in a lovely warm sunny place!! This looks great, and I love the aureolin glazes. What a lovely glow you have created.

I agree: the cardi wasn't sacrified in vain. It's great. Have you heard about the lack-of-permanence issue in Aureolin Jeanette? It doesn't discourage me using it occasionally, but still slightly worrying. Carole shouldn't be jealous: Italy's cold and wet now - and set to remain so until mid-month.

Beautiful colours and lovely painting. Wa can all dream a bit. Interesting about the glazes - are they over the whole painting or just the sunny spots?

Toscany is my dream home. Looking at your painting Jeannette , makes my desire of going there even stronger. Lovely glazes.

Thank you all so very much for your kind comments. Kim, Regarding the permanence of Aureolin a bit worrying! I managed to get the stain out of my cardigan!

Gorgeous colours as always :), this is really so lovely, would love to be there, looks very inviting.

This painting has a lovely sunny atmosphere. It's a good thing watercolour washes off.

Great painting jeannette. Glad you managed finally to get the stain out of your cardigan. Jx
