I do like the blue-eyed innocence ... slightly belied by the suggestion of a grin..... Very good; and very effective use of oil paint, which can render portraits a bit solemn and heavy.

My favourite sun hat. Painted using a mirror - after much frustration my husband took a photograph and then I used mirror and photo. Painted 2008. Oil on canvas board. Just back from holiday - the tan!
