Very delicately and sensitively painted. I wonder what dance it was - it almost has a Spanish feel to it. I think the monochrome works very well.

I agree with Thea, very sensitively painted and I like the monochrome - it's different. Good pose and the shadow adds depth.

This is lovely Jeannette the shadow has to be there it adds to the overall painting. Have they sold it yet?

I was asked to paint this for a gallery. Wanted black and white. A photo was used - I changed it from colour to monochrome, background and ballerina shadow my idea. Acrylic on canvas board 16 x 12
