Very nice painting, Jeannette. I like the background against their dresses. How did you like the Alkyd oil. Is it water soluble?

Another beautiful painting Jeannette. Did you find much difference with the Alkyd oil compared with the water soluble oil? I have thought of trying them to speed up my painting a bit, if that is possible! Val

Thanks for your kind comments Jeannette. I hope I will be as good as you one day. I absolutely love Degas dancers. Maybe I will do as you and try to copy his methods.

This is just an A4 size painting. It is a pleasure to explore Degas the colours he used - I am applying to my own work. Painting using Alkyd oil for the first time. Dry after one day.
