Sunset Croft by Jeannette Harrison

Just switched on (or should I say booted up) and there you are. I love this one, very vibrant and colourful and I agree, looks very Scottish. I really must try pastels with my watercolours, if I get the same reusults as you I'll be more than happy!

Great sky in this one. I really like the various colours in the foreground, they make the painting both vibrant and interesting.

Hi Jeanette. Love this one! Its very effective the way you use pastels and water colours together, I'm not skilled in those mediums but I'm thinking to try it because you get such lovely results! And you ballet pictures are amazing! In rsponse to you comments... i painted the canvas with black acrylic first, then painted in oils on top once it had dried.
