I like this Denise , you have done a really good job, I’m sure there are bits that you will want to do better next time . As this is your first real portrait I think you have done a great job, it been really good watching it develop, and your skills along with it. I would be proud to have done a portrait this well .

You have done really well with this Denise. I think it is always difficult to copy from the great artists as we are all so familiar with them and Vermeer was one of the very greatest but I do think that your version is really well done and I think you should be very pleased with it!

My late mother was a keen amateur artist. She attempted the Vermeer painting. It's always good to learn from the masters. Keep it up.
