Thanks everyone - they look better in reality because the photo has enlarged the painting ( which is 4”x 4” ). A couple of hours of intense concentration, the eyes need a rest now.

4"x4" is like painting with tweezers! Have you considered using ACM rather than MDF? It has the same flat surface but is more resistant to humidity.
