Ha ha Paul, I’m having a good time! Not quite sure re scenes like this whether I should take it further. I’m still educating myself about washes and how to work on top without disturbing the underneath layer. I’ve also decided I’m just going to use the colours I like, whether or not they’re realistic.

Could be the Cotswolds Marjorie! Watercolour and washes are a mystery to me, so respect.

Not as tidy as the Cotswolds Tessa, pretty enough though.

I find myself looking through the upper washes searching for…..something else! I love the way you have painted the sky and the crimson shrub on the left, especially how it bleeds in to the stonework and sky. A bright, clear autumn day.

Yes Fiona, I actually went over the top with acrylic in parts, took out the green.

Has a lively feel to it. What are the marks in the sky?
