Beautiful painting, Marjorie - I love the colours and the composition, and the vase is wonderful. Being interrupted by a phone-call hasn't prevented this from being a fabulous painting!

Love the impromptu effect you have created, original but also a very typical occurrence. Beautiful sense of light and shadow Marjorie. Daffodils are so irresistible to paint.

It takes a lot of skill and experience to paint as expertly as you do. I imagine that this has been executed fairly quickly which gives it a sense of freedom and spontaneity without fussing over detail. If it's a mornings work, the time was well spent.
