Winter tree

Sad story but what a lovely painting, really lovely use of colour, I like this a lot Marjorie

Thanks Heather - that was quick!

Aw that’s a shame Marjorie, but you have immortalised it in this wonderful painting.

That’s what I figured, Carole.

What a shame it’s gone Marjorie but you’ve captured it for posterity.

Beautiful Winter scene and sky!

Such a beautiful winter sky!

A lovely wintry scene.

A lovely wintry painting Marjorie. What a shame about the tree.

Really like the colours, Marjorie, in this lovely winter painting.

This is so beautiful Marjorie and sad that it has had to be cut down. I hope the flood defences are worth it.

Aww beautiful and least you have a beauty of a painting memory 😍

Lovely painting Marjorie. Sorry to hear about your tree. I hoe you have planted another to make up for it. I painted one in our local woods, but the next time I went to the woods, it had been chopped. I was heartbroken.

Good atmospheric feeling of a winter evening/early morning.

Really good, Marjorie!

Thanks everyone for all the great comments. Luckily, we haven’t had another flood so the flood wall hasn’t been put to the test😁

A superb atmospheric painting Marjorie, that winter sky is wonderful!

Terrific tree and painting Marjorie…..shame about its demise. A fitting memorial to it, until you paint over it? 😲

A lovely winter scene Marjorie! I love the sky and I can almost feel the cold.

A really lovely painting.

Thank you Alan, Fiona, Karen and David - we have had a few frosts in March but not quite as cold as this! Paint over it, Fiona? Now where did you get that idea from?🤭

Beautiful scene Marjorie, I really like it!

Love this atmosphere painting Marjorie. Colours are superb.

Winter captured perfectly Majorie.

Thanks everyone for all your very generous comments.

I really like this one. Beautiful colours and light!

Thanks Janet - you probably know where it was….just by the URC church carpark.

Only just noticed this, I really like it. Beautiful and sad but a lovely tribute. Has a magical quality about it - lovely.

Came across this half finished little painting so finished it off. Sadly, this tree is no longer in front of my house, it was cut down to build a flood wall. Oil on board
