That’s quite an accomplishment Marjorie, not only growing this wonderful specimen from seeds but bringing to life in oil pastel.

Love this Marjorie, I feel inspired to dig my oil pastels out too!

Katy, I did it on a black surface ( mdf and black gesso. Black makes oil pastels “ sing”).

How satisfying to grow this beautiful flower, then be able to paint it.
