Amazing Marjorie. Well done.

I think it’s worked out really well, you have captured the crack in the window beautifully with the light reflecting from some of the damaged glass. Don’t beat yourself up it’s a fine looking piece Marjorie.

Terrific work Marjorie, you’ve painted the shattered pane brilliantly and I love the reflections of the rooftops and houses opposite. I’m utterly perplexed as to what ‘the hard way’ is though?

The “ hard way” -too impatient to plan it, painted in some of the salon details before the reflection of the street - I knew it was going to make things trickier but too impatient to wait!

Well done Marjorie.

This is a very unusual subject that really works! Impressive.

However you did it, you’ve produced a marvellous result. A very original concept. I love it.

Very skilful work!

Tricky subject and I like the result… something different for sure…

Wowzer Marjorie, it's excellent and that shattered glass is SO well done. Views within views, amazing.

That is really excellent, Marjorie, you've caught the cracked glass amazingly well

I apologise for saying this but it’s a cracker. Also an incisive comment on modern society

Brilliant artwork Marjorie.

Ha ha, I can’t compete with that repartee Martin! And thanks everyone for your comments - it’s certainly not something you’d hang on a wall but I’m hoping the challenges it brought will keep the old brain functioning…..

Very good Marjorie! You certainly met the challenge!

Thanks Karen and ha ha John!😆

I am amazed, I don't know how you did this !

This is fab Marjorie, such a tricky painting to do and you’ve caught both the reflections and the crack beautifully.

I arrived at the hairdresser’s to find that some happy soul had gone around throwing bricks at shop windows. This was a challenge - the street is reflected in the window and I tackled it the hard way…but I won’t go into that. Oil on mdf
