Ohhh, this is a winner. Love the rest and delight this painting gives the viewer. The dappled, "moving" light a nice contrast to the sleeping dog. Wonderful painting.

Have an old boy here who does exactly the same you’ve really caught that totally relaxed dog pose and the lovely light.

They’re lovely, aren’t they - usually so daft that they lie baking in the sun.
