The diffusion you have created gives your work a wonderful romantic edge, quite fitting for the subject. Beautiful. When you look at your work, then, Marjorie, do you see a change in the way you paint?

Thanks everyone. Carol - yes, I do see a change, I certainly have much more confidence approaching a subject. I know what I want to convey but that’s not to say whether it always works or satisfies me. I just hope to continue “ developing”. It would be interesting to post an early effort alongside a current one. Anyone interested?

Came across this…a pastel of my daughter’s bouquet and the groom’s buttonhole. I remember doing two versions - she chose the watercolour, I kept this. 22 years ago now. Hydrangeas and roses.
