You're on a roll Louise!

A great one again Louise! Like in the other one I love the skeletal look of the building. Leaving big bits out makes it so crisp and airy. The painting not the building,I mean.

Now this is really fresh and crisp, I love the colours also louise.

Sorry - I've missed a few as have been super busy. This is wonderful - especially love the dome on the top of the clock tower - something very satisfying about it for some reason. You are so good at these spontaneous and, may I say, very brave paintings and they always turn out looking like something that you would see in a good gallery!

I like the chunky, blockiness (is that a word) of this Louise....great colours too!

Very free and loose Louise but it is definately recognisable by the clock tower. Have you seen the old painting in the art gallery, showing the building being constructed? By Vellette, (Lowry's tutor) I think?

Smashing work and I think one of the best Louise

Very bold, love the clock tower.

Thank you Christine, Satu, Alan, Dennis, Thea. Fiona, Stephen, Derek and Debs for such lovely comments! I didn't know the Vellette painting Stephen and have just googled him. Aren't his paintings wonderful, so atmospheric, Manchester as it was. Thanks for that and it's time I had another look round the art gallery. I haven't been for some time and have no excuse.

Attractive painting as always Louise, good colours too.

Now I do like this chunky feel. It's a nice change from your pen ones. Elegant.

Love the slightly abstract qualities of this piece, Louise. The balance of details with the large shapes and bold lines work so well.
