Utterly beautiful scene and so beautifully painted with gorgeous light and colours. I have seen a few more versions of this scene, obviously taken from the same photo, but this is the best rendition by a country mile.

This is a lovely limited pallete watercolour Louise, a lovely view with beautifully painted rocks and water

I concur with Thea. I haven't seen this place before, but the rocks are like silhouettes of people, in my mind. Gorgeous use of colours.

This just jumped out at me from the gallery page. Beautifully painted Louise, a real cracker.

Fantastic palette and of course I can but agree with all the other comments. The distant tree is so delicate.

I agree with all the above, fantastic watercolour Louise

Pretty sure I've been here - you don't happen to remember the Welsh name? Very pleasing watercolour, wherever it is.

Many thanks to you all! I've never been there Robert despite managing to paint the place as many have before me! It's part of the Conwy river in Betws-y Coed, Wales, called the fairy glen presumably because of it's magical feel. Haven't felt that either and had to look the name of the place up . lol !!

Lovely colours Louise and I have been there!

Masterful use of the medium - really makes this

Magical Louise, great colour combination.

Thank you Debs and Fiona!

Well captured Louise. Just outside of Betws y Coed on the way to Dolgellau. We almost bought a house across the road. It is a magical place. .

I seem to have missed quite a few entries but luckyly found yours. This is fantastic Louise, a real fairyland painting with magical colours!!

watercolour 20 in x 20 in. I painted this some time ago and it's a copy of published photograph so because of copyright, I obviously couldn't sell it. Just wanted to make that clear! It's of a place in Wales called Fairy Glen.
