Great colours, lovely painting Louise

Louise, it seems you are really becoming looser with your work - this is still unmistakably yours with the strong colours, but the sky is much freer and the patches of shadows. Lovely!

Thanks Charles, Petra and Jane! Jane, this is a really quick sketch which I was going to throw away but then decided that it had something. Not too sure exactly what!... I was messing about really (as we do) This is probably why it looks a bit rough! It is! :)

I like your bold composition and colourful approach to your subjects. Its very good to see and I like your work. Its very refreshing to look at...

But it isn't ` a bit rough`, Louise! It's good - and good that it didn't get into that bin of yours!

I like how you have extended the lower reds etc into the bottom border.

As usual, I marvel at your creativity, Louise! Like Carol, I really like the way you carried the reds down. It creates an extra depth. Keep them coming!

I enjoyed looking at this along with the other paintings you have in your august portfolio, they look marvellous together.

Another one I missed. This makes me think of a sunny day because it is light, fresh and the colours are more delicate than the ones you usually use. I like the detail in the portion of sky as well. I just can't imagine how you manage to think up all these new ideas - I would have stalled at about painting No 3!
