Super paintings as always Lewis. I used to work in retail delivery and I dreaded Christmas every year because of the huge amount of extra work involved, but now I am retired I love it again like in the early days.

Great characters and, yes, we all know one of those miseries!

Of course, we dog owners fool ourselves into thinking it is us taking them for a walk. A bit of a case of been there, done that........and I won't rule out the Christmas party chap either.

Great depictions of a humbug!

Great characters as always

You do bring so much amusement to the gallery Lewis. Excellent pictures.

I love that expression!

First class work Lews. Love the expression on the Dogs face, if there was snow on the ground I couldn't get my last one out of her basket.

Brings a smile, Lewis, it's gloomy here today, too! Thank you!!

We all know these people, great picture Lew.

Thank you for your comments. Always valued.

Made me giggle on this long, dark, Sunday Lewis.

Such a happy soul. Or souls should I say.

Great characters Lewis. I think the dog looks like his owner- he has the same smile at least.

The 'misery' reminds me very much of a foreman I once had the misfortune of working with, thanks for that Lewis!

Both brilliant. Love the expression on your "miseryguts". Also the way the man and his dog have such similar features and expressions.

Brings a seasonal smile Lew

Amazing characters 👌

Nice one Lewis.

Good 1 Lewis.

Your man and dog have the same satisfied smile Lew. I love’em!

I know only too well that “Oh no - not Christmas again”. This year, with each card received, I go to my address book to cross a deceased one out.

Great characters, and so well drawn Lewis.

Two great characters Lewis. I always look forward to seeing your next paintings. I think we all know one of those Christmas misery individuals.

I think the man and his best friend just left Misery :)

We were talking about the Christmas miseries. The sort who hate Christmas and everything to do with it. We had one where I last worked...whinge, whinge, whinge...but he always turned up for the parties.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
