This is the first year we’ve really celebrated New Year as we’ve moved into a retirement village. Normally we would be hidden away. Happy new Year Lewis. Looking forward to lots more of your wonderful illustrations!

I'm not quite as bad as this fella, we hosted many Christmas and New Year party's back in the day, and, as much as I loved to see all the family and friends, I loved that golden time when they'd all gone home and I'd sit with my wife having a quiet drink and gazing at the embers of the fire. (We had an open fire back then, and at Christmas would treat ourselves to a real fire.) Health and happiness in the New Year.
