They all look good to me Lew. You are do hard on yourself but I do recognise that we all are sometimes, I like the toad and the Gendarme.

All of the sketches have great character and the toucan looks lively! The female character reminded me of Botticellis Venus!

Always interesting Lewis and always great to study closely. I've commented many times on how I love the detail in your illustrations but I do like the 'simpler' drawing of the young lady too.

Made a lash-up of the toad. I can draw cartoon toucans all day long, tried a realistic one. Studied photo, put photo away, and tried to draw it from memory...OK-ish, but beak not long enough, and the eye should be a bit lower in the head. Bottom right, drawing in much simpler style.
