Fabulous ... love the Lady Godiva!

And ticking over real well by the look of these superb sketches Lew . I do like the Troubadour it had to be my favourite. The pony is very Thelwell , I used to love his work .

Thank you Heather and Dixie. I like Thelwell too Dixie, his pen and ink drawings were sublime. I suppose if you draw a fat pony with short legs it'll look like Thelwell...glad you reminded my of him, I'll have another look at his work.

Love the pony, typical Thelwell - I’ve had two of his books of illustrations since I started riding as a child, they still make me smile whenever I look at them.

Brilliant lewis

Excellent Lewis.

Wonderful attention to every detail Lew.

Your work always brings a smile in dark times. I love your beautifully illustrated humour.

Lol. Lovely Drawings Lewis love the pony 🐎☺

It's the troubadour for me Lew. Even anguished at his own singing. Ace..(-:

Keep ticking along Lewis with your supply of great characterizations and humour !

Love Godiva and her horse. She is probably running away from the troubadour.

Thanks to everybody for your interest and great comments.

A not so demure lady Godiva on a Thelwell pony lookalike-superb!

Top left is pencil, the others pen and water-soluble pencil. Just drawing something to keep ticking over.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
