Go for it Lewis! I did this in my garage - put some dust sheets on the floor and let loose with the paint. Great image by the way.

I'm sure it would produce interesting artwork. Great action.

☺ love it. Sounds abut like me 🤔 brilliant work. So detailed. Your so clever

If only! I’m sure there’s an inborn wish in all of us to have a go at this. Great fun Lewis.

The names are hilarious you think up, this character sounds very familiar, great work, Lewis.

I absolutely love this Lewis, the enjoyment on the artists face is priceless

Super, next stop The Tate! Another wonderful character and magnificently drawn

Great sense of action, Lewis - and love the expression on his face.

Excellent Lew , oh for a big shed or even a barn , I’d probably still do what I do but one can dream .

It would be fun, wouldn’t it? Brilliant drawing Lewis!

Where do you think up these names !! Wish I had the space to do a Cuthbert. Good one Lewis. 😂

What a character - such enthusiasm! Thanks for the laughs, Lewis - excellent!

Great stuff Lewis. If only some of us were brave enough to do this Lewis.

More brilliant work Lewis. Sign the one on the wall, you could sell it for a fortune.

Many a true word spoken in jest Lew. Oh the joys of expressionism. (-: expressionism.(-:

Just imagine - I am - how great this would be! And, as mentioned, no clearing up, no expense spared, no holding back! I’ll be keeping an eye open for Cuthbert Pickersgill’s oeuvres.

Brilliant Lewis. I like the expression on the face of the nude on the wall, sniggering at his efforts perhaps.

Ha ha, I'm sure we'd all love to have a go at this. Like his hippy sandels, good one Lewis.

Love it, Lewis. How I wish I could throw paint around like Cuthbert, but alas I don’t have a designated space.

Go for it Cuthbert!

Thanks everybody for your great response. I guess this is on most of our wish lists. It would need a large canvass or board to make it worthwhile, and then what would you do with it? Put it over the mantlepiece? I'd still like to do it, even if my masterpiece ends up repairing the shed roof.

Certainly made me chuckle. Its certainly something I could try. But then it's a bit like my decorating anyway Lewis!

I've often thought this would be a fun thing to do, apart from the cost of the paint and clearing up afterwards. Pen and watercolour.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
