What a excellent idea, no horrid needle needed , no I’m a devout coward it go for the jab and the painless way . Excellent drawing Lew , I did try the cotton tied to the bedroom door as a kid , ended y up with a cut on my forehead as the door bounced back , tooth was still intact.

Desperate times take desperate measures Lewis. The relief when the pain is gone. I once tried a DIY and failed miserably but thankfully not as drastic as this🤣

So funny, yes it brings back memories for me as well. Though the idea was to slam a door not stand on a cliff....oi chickened and tried to undo the thread on the tooth which promptly pulled it out. I was seven....

This could end very badly - some teeth have very deep roots..... Of course, it's funny - as your drawings always are: but there's a deeper truth here too: without getting all earnest about it, people ARE having recourse to self-dentistry, when they can't stand the pain any longer. I'm so grateful to have a dental practice that looks after me, here on the Isle of Wight; I know many older people - and younger - who just can't access dental treatment.
