Well said ... but time has a way of catching up on us. Another great and very detailed drawing despite the wonky hand Lewis

Wow brilliant! So detailed and the background. It doesn't matter how you did it. Its the results. Great work as always Lewis ☺

Excellent illustration Lewis, you have a very imaginative mind and good sense of humour!

Love the monochrome - and the background detail.

Excellent as always Lewis

Brilliant Lewis, love all the wheels and cogs.

Beautifully done , the wobble adds to the effect Lew, I just love staring a new sketch book . I made a cushion for my hands out of a old pillow case , it great for resting it on when sketching , take a bit of getting use too.

Your incredible attention to detail(and skill and imagination, in portraying it) make your work amazing Lew. Great stuff.

Thanks everybody for your very encouraging comments. Yes Dixie, I love starting a new sketchbook, don't know why it gives a buzz. I have about six sketchbooks on the go, a couple to scribble ideas in, the rest for more developed drawings. At the moment I'm thinking of using this new book for Fantasy and Sci-Fi drawings, haven't done much sci-fi lately.

Wonderful Lewis! The cogs are brilliantly drawn and as for 'Old Father Time, just perfect.

So good, as usual Lewis. If you had not mentioned it on the Forum I wouldn't have noticed your wobblyism. (what a lovely word of yours )

What a great illustration Lewis - love the big key and all the cogs and wheels behind him. Can’t see any wobbles at all!

Excellent lewis

Lewis , what the eye doesn't see , the heart doesn't grieve over. I still can't see any problem !!

Terrific detailed drawing.

Another cracker Lewis.

Top notch Lewis, despite your wobbles. I couldn’t attain this accuracy of drawing with a good hand.

Wonky hand or not this is a fabulous drawing Lewis. The time wheels and cogs are magnificent. Behind your character who is marvelous too.

Thanks again for your comments. Very much appreciated.

You are certainly amazing, Lewis, with your brilliant detail. If I wore a hat I’d take it off to you😁

An incredible drawing and character Lew. Brilliant.

Not wobbly Lewis, brilliant as ever!

OK, I'll own up. This started out as a straightforward drawing. My hands aren't so steady these days and I got an attack of the 'wobblies' when I was trying to draw the wheels and cogs in the clock thing behind the man. I may have to get some drawing aids. This was done with a black Faber watersoluble pencil, then finished off with a black polychromous pencil (not soluble). First page in a new A3 sketchbook.
