Dramatic and brooding - such majestic mountains. Your feeling for the mountains and the men who ascended them comes over very strongly in your work on these subjects and that's what makes the paintings reach out to the viewer. Excellent stuff.

Thanks so much. The photo quality is quite poor for some reason, but the overall impression is ok. I've ordered some huge 600g sheets of paper. Not quite sure what I'll do with them, but mountains may be part of it!

This wonderful light over the Sciora range caught my attention last winter and have now painted it. To the west the sun emits a final flare, whilst eastwards the light is yellowing ominously, indicating more snow - and worse. 50x70 cm
