oil on panel, 30 x 40 cm. Studio painting from direct on-site (very wet) oil pastel sketches at rocks just off St.Ives lighthous. Result of a week's workshop with a fabulous instructor-Gary Long. Painted in 2017 but never shown before. The challenge was to combine palette knife work ( mainly to rocks) with brush work.
