Soft pastel on Pastelmat card. 24 x 30 cm. Depicts the strong light/shadow contrast captured on-site in my local canyon through which the river Sense runs through. It lies 30 minutes by car SW of Bern. I used Faber-Castell hard pastels and Unison soft pastels. Underpainting was hard pastel rubbed in with a piece of foam insulation. The card os amazing and taked many layers without the need for fixing.
