Thank you for your lovely comments everyone. Alan, it might be an awkward pose but it’s the one I see everyday from my favourite chair! Jaqueline, if anyone tried to snuggle up with him he would be off like a shot, it’s on his terms only! He lives a good life now but I don’t think it has always been that way, he was in a pound and then a rescue centre when we took him on.

This sketch of your dog is superb, the pose and the way he is reclining on his mat. Lovely tones and textures too, well done Katy!
