Lovely pose and colours. Yes, hares do seem to be a popular subject, (along with roosters). You've caught him beautifully.

This is a beauty Karen! For two evenings on the trot I've watched a hare feeding its young outside my patio doors, I didn't catch her this evening. A privileged sight of these adorable creatures, you've captured the essence of the hare.
