And you succeeded, Karen. A very quiet, lovely view.

You've captured how the snow seems to wrap itself around everything, Karen.

Thank you Mia and Dawn!

A really stunning piece. Love the wonderful merging washes, the light and the palette. Beautifully done.

A beautiful painting Karen , you have caught the effect really well.

You've captured it so well, a lovely watercolour.

It’s beautiful, Karen. Love the blue and those touches of turquoise.

Thank you so much everyone! I'm better known for my animals, so it's always a treat when a landscape goes down well because I really enjoy painting them too.

And captured it you have Karen. Love the blurred distance, especially on the left. It adds mystery and intrigu. A really lovely atmospheric painting.

Lovely snow scene Karen.

Very beautiful, Karen.

This is gorgeous Karen, love the colours in your washes.

Beautifully painted and a wonderful title Karen.

Wow this looks stunning Karen. You have really captured the snow.

Super painting Karen. I like the way you’ve framed the little church with the trees, and this really has the feel of new snow and ultra-coldness! Lovely job.

Ps love the title too, says it all!

Beautifully painted, Karen - a gorgeous scene.

This is so beautiful and so full of light Karen. I love it !!

This is gorgeous! We used to live in a village like tha, cut off barring tractors! So beautifully captured...the real spirit of snow here!

Love the way you have transformed a cold wintry day into a bright and vivid scene

Last year, I grabbed camera (too cold for me for plein air at the time) and walked miles through the snowscape. Is there anything better than finding huge swathes of virgin snow where nobody has been yet?! The still quietness too ... that’s what I was trying to capture here.
