Just gorgeous, both expressions are so very telling! Super narrative portrait of both. I'm a sucker for all animals, but especially dogs, he's great!

Being a very sentimental dog-lover, I couldn't resist painting this subject. I've approached it with a little more detail than usual, because I felt it was important to try to capture the expression on the little girls face. Hope I've managed to capture some of the magic of the bond these two obvously share.
