Jenny these are super, love the bird one, I would buy a mug with this design on it!

Glad you did Jenny, these designs would be great on mugs. Love them.

Thank you, Fiona and Carole - in my youthful optimism I did at the time send them off to a couple of mug manufacturers, but they were politely declined and have been in the back of the cupboard ever since!

I think they are brilliant and done at such a young age blows me away Jenny.

Jenny you should have another go at sending them off, this type of natural history design is very popular these days. They are the kind of thing I would certainly buy, I like the stylised format.

These are really good Jenny, you showed much talent at school.

Their loss Jenny, would have sold well!

They're very striking Jenny, lovely stylised drawings!

Thank you so much everyone for your positive comments, I wasn't really sure what to expect on this one (and thank you Fiona for your encouraging suggestion of submitting the designs again, I may well look into that).

Excellent Jenny - the design is great fun.

Thank you, Julie, for your kind comment.

I'd definitely have a set of mugs with these on :-)

I absolutely love these Jenny . Are they prints? Love them all equally. <br />Diana

Thank you so much Stephanie and Diana for your kind comments. Diana, no, they aren&#39;t prints, the originals were pen and ink with a colour wash (using rather bright poster paints), but I used a black and white photocopy to post this, I thought they looked better in black and white!

Clearing a cupboard the other day I found these from my school days, drawn as mug designs. I don't have any new paintings at the moment and thought it might be fun to post these!
