Perhaps the unexpected results are part of the draw to inks Jenny....I'm always drawn to your ink work because of their individuality. The sky is certainly a fabulous result in this one.

I love the fabulous design, spontaneity of the washes, and the beautiful subtle textures of the backdrop. This unpredictable medium absolutely suits you, Jenny!

Acrylic ink / watercolour. Another version of an earlier design. I love the vibrancy of inks, but do find it a bit of a drawback that once the ink's on the paper, you really just have to go with what you've got! But maybe it just makes for a more spontaneous painting?
