“When I’m sixty-four”
This Beatles song was recorded in 1967 and is credited to Lennon and McCartney however, Paul McCartney originally wrote it in 1956, when he was 14. The song is sung by a young man to his lover about his plans for growing old together. I’ve used the lyrics ‘ Every summer we can rent a cottage in the Isle of Wight, if it’s not too dear. We shall scrimp and save.
