Biography

Inspired by being out on the moors, fells mountains and coasts of northern England ( the best part of the country!), inspired me to start painting though I had procrastinated for several years. But, I did start in September 2022 during a time of recovery from a leg injury. Now, painting is almost an obsession but I do still love my trips out with Minnie my dog. Impressionistic art, semi abstract and abstract landscape works are my main interest. My paintings come from memory, attempting to convey the feeling of being in a place. I have managed to sell some works in pop up shops in my town and have exhibited in Leeds.
