This textile is very different to your painted work. I can see a link in the colours you have used - the silver greys and copper colours remind me of the metallic paints in one of your human robot painting a week or so ago.

That is really beautiful, Spencer! There is certainly a link between your thread work and your paintings. I am really intrigued with how you cope with being colour blind yet your paintings etc certainly do not display that!

Lovely work Spencer.

I had forgotten that you were colour blind Spencer. It certainly doesn’t show! But if you get the tones right it doesn’t matter. This is so good.

This is really lovely Spencer.

Very beautiful work Spencer! Really nice to see it.

You are a man of many talents. This is lovely, and I admire the fact that you worked on it for 9 months. Something I couldn't do.

Thank you so much for your lovely comments Bobble, David, Andrew, Marjorie, Christine, Sarah and Lewis.

Wow that's amazing Spencer!! 😍

Beautifully done Spencer , and good for you for persevering despite the disadvantaged. I certainly had forgotten that your colour blind as it doesn’t seem to affect your artwork.

Beautiful piece of work Spencer! I know I wouldn't have the patience. The frosty colour choice at the top is really appealing (I wouldn't have guessed you're colour blind).

This is really beautiful work.

Thank you so much for your kind comments Paul and Martin.

I know it not a painting or drawing but for me it’s painting with thread. Before I started painting with watercolours etc due to my colour blindness I worked mostly in textiles as the colours to me didn’t matter as long as they made an impact on the work. This piece is one of a set of two. This took over 9 months to complete. Some people have said they notice a link between my drawn/painted art and textile work.
