Really well done Spencer

An uplifting piece Spencer

I expect we all have moments in our lives where black clouds gather in our minds. And anxiety rules our judgement. I think you have done a fabulous figure demonstrating such a moment with your words of wisdom Spencer.

Some words are hard to visualise in a painting, you've done an excellent job here.

A wonderful poem, beautifully illustrated to convey the words.

Thank you so much Paul, Heather, Russell, Chris, Lewis and Karen. I am so pleased that you all feel I’ve portrayed the verse well. When I first read the verse by Matt Haig my head was full of ideas of how I could best show this in a visual form. The way the world is nowadays we all need a time for ourselves to reflect and think about how we are feeling and appreciate others are probably feeling the same.

Very well done, Spencer!

Well done. Illustrated well.

What encouraging words Spencer to go with the artwork, very good.

Lo E your very philosophical paintings with such poignant messages Spencer.

Thank you for your great comments Denise and Carole.

This is superb and I like the words too ! So true

Great work Spencer like it 👏

Very thought provoking.

Very powerful Art Spencer. Anxiety is a powerful human emotion which we all experience at different times in our lives and you are successfully channelling some of that power into art.

Thank you so much David. You seem very aware of how I’m using art to examine how it affects many people and myself personally.

Hi Spencer. I love the way you have presented this poem/verse. I suffer with depression and anxiety and it is also good to know that the bad times do move on just as the storm moves on. 😊

Thank you so much Jennifer. I’m glad you appreciated it and hope it helps. I am working on some other paintings on the same theme.

That is just lovely. Thank you.

Very well done Spencer! Like this a lot!!!

Using a verse by Matt Haig on anxiety I decided to create it artistically. The background is watercolour pencils which were sprayed. I did this 3 times. I then painted the figure before adding the verse digitally over the painting. The verse accentuates how anxiety feels.
