A super sketch and narrative

Great sketch Spencer.

Yes alot of drug taking references as also with the song. Gotta get you into my life. Any way a terrific composition and narrative Spencer. Keep them coming.

Thank you so much George. I’m pleased you like it.

Excellent sketch and info about the song.

More of Stones man myself Spencer but I'm enjoying the Beatles theme a lot, great work.

You are good at these Spencer. Lovely movement in the figures. I love Joe Cocker’s version of this song

How great is that, Spencer!! Love your interpretation of the title and prefer it to the Beatles meaning!

Thank you so much for your great comments Valerie, Coral, Russell, Martin and David. Much appreciated!

Excellent painting Spencer.

Great drawing and composition and story Spencer.

Lovely and very nostalgic

A lot of songs back then portrayed drug taking, but you’ve portrayed the “high” with the kite, beautifully interpreted.

Excellent portrayal of the song Spencer. I like the way you have chosen to put your own story to it.

Thank you so much for your lovely comments Ellen and Fiona.

Continuing my Beatles theme this is the next. I’ve portrayed this song quite literally. As the second line of the chorus states “ I get high with a little help from my friends”. It was written in 1967 by Lennon and Mc Cartney but sung by Ringo Starr.
