Fields in Winter by Hilary Forbes

I like them both and to be honest it's hard to choose

This is lovely Hilary the sky is particularly good.

I love them both for different reasons Hilary. This one gives the stark coldness of winter, the light and the dry, dead reeds in the distance…..I can hear them rustling in the cold wind.

Both are really lovely Hilary. You might have to get some of each printed!

Brrr! I feel the cold in both of these ..your pallet says winter!

The other is more dramatic ( colours). I like this more restrained one but on balance I’d go for the other.

Excellent painting Hilary. If I had to choose I think I prefer the lake one. But then again........
