The Dingly Dell by Hazel Money
There is something rather magical about a shady woodland, very atmospheric but with so much tangle and undergrowth, and so many greens to juggle - quite a challenge! Once I had planned my colours and structure, this painting came together more easily than I thought, thankfully! Using a purple/maroon background against the greens (opposite on the colour wheel) worked really well together and proves that using a spot of colour theory really does go a long way.
