Thanks for your lovely comments, pink is such a fun colour and there are so many different variations depending on your base colours. I used magenta and then added my usual landscape colours into it. I also painted the canvas bright cadmium red to start with, so this too helped warm the painting up. It was very hot in that greenhouse! :D

Pink isn't normally found in my palette but these stunning head-high geraneums at Nostell Priory near Leeds just had to be seen (or painted) to be believed! Keeping tones muted on the left helped the stripes of sunshine on the floor stand out more. Such fun to paint!!
