With the forecast promising sun and cloud I made a return visit to Ockley Allotment in Hawkhurst. When they are actually there, I do enjoy including people in my paintings - in this case there were a few friendly plot holders going about their allotment business. We exchanged waves and a smile or a pleasant greeting - but all of us keeping very socially distanced. Last time I visited I was given freshly cut cucumbers - how our lives have sadly changed.
