This has turned out so well Fiona, I really liked your pencil sketch of this but here we have a super coloured version and your reflections in the windows are excellent.

Richard, Mia, Tony, Margaret and Val......thank you very much. I had hoped that I had put enough texture in the background for it not to appear too flat. I think I need to darken the far house roof a little.

Looks great, love the reflections in the windows, and the small one to the right,the colours of the buildings and the foreground work well together with the uplifting blue sky , Fiona.

I don’t really understand the rules of composition but you have got the ends of two buildings on the thirds lines which work quite well. I love the window reflections and the shadows on the floor enhance a wonderful feeling of light

This upgrade to colour has worked really well Fiona and this is brilliant interpretation of the same scene. As others have said the tree reflections have worked really well. Any chance we might be treated to an oil version of the same scene? (just found your e mail-will reply shortly)
